24 DAY CHALLENGE - DAY 3

Yes life is busy  and I didn’t blog yesterday but here I am on Day 3 of my 24 Day Challenge and I feel great! I haven’t had a Coke Zero since last Sunday and honestly I haven’t missed it. No withdrawal headaches and no mid day slump around 3pm.   I did manage to get the fiber cleanse down all 3 days thanks to a friends suggestion of mixing it with cranberry juice and using a straw! (thanks Heather!!!)
I have been drinking SPARK once a day. I haven’t needed more than in the morning.  I must say I like the Fruit Punch better than the Watermelon flavor but that is just a matter of taste. I don’t really like Watermelon :)
My diet hasn’t really changed that much other than I feel fuller faster. Breakfast consists of Greek Yogurt  and a piece of fruit mid morning.
Lunch  is either left overs from the night before or a turkey sandwich.  I have given up the wonderful world of potato chips and replaced them with carrots  so that I still get a CRUNCH! If I get hungry in the afternoon I eat either another piece of fruit or a handful or nuts (right now it is unsalted peanuts because that is what I have on hand)
Dinner has been chicken with a green salad or broccoli  - If I feel we must have a carb I try to go with whole grain rice or red potatoes.  I have to say I was told last night that my fiance’ is not eating chicken or fish again for the rest of the week so I guess I will have to be creative in cooking dinner or order from our favorite restaurants for the remainder of the week :)
Kind of a boring account of my AdvoCare journey but it keeps me accountable! If you are interested in starting your own AdvoCarejourney please feel free to leave a comment below!
P.S. My fiance’ has tried the SLAM and LOVES them – He said it gives him energy without the jittery feeling usually associated with other energy drinks.
