lavender lights the evening sky, the day is an azure blue
our world is like a rainbow,
love brightens every hue
indigo nights the silvery stars,
precede into the sapphire dawn
the golden sun sends warmth our way,
as we live on our emerald lawn
we watch the scarlet sunset,
over a sea of aqua blue
then comes the amber twilight,
when love is always new
an apricot moon brightens the night,
and the stars sparkle like diamonds above
together we wait for tomorrow,
and the rainbow colors of love
